You may unsubscribe from promotional emails through the unsubscribe mechanism in the message. You may still receive nonpromotional account, billing, legal, and security communications.

5. Artificial-Intelligence Processing
The Service uses artificial-intelligence systems to generate educational explanations and related content. When you submit a question, prompt, image, file, or other material, that content may be transmitted to and processed by one or more third-party AI service providers.
Those providers may process your prompt, relevant conversation history, uploaded content, and technical metadata needed to generate and return a response. We use AI providers to provide requested responses, support safety and abuse prevention, and operate the Service.
Model and Product Improvement
We may review or use selected interactions to evaluate and improve the Service, including quality-control systems and educational functionality. We do not permit third-party AI providers to use API inputs and outputs to train their general models unless we separately disclose that practice and obtain any consent required by law.
Human Review
Authorized personnel or contractors may review limited interactions when reasonably necessary to investigate a support request, evaluate answer quality, troubleshoot an error, address abuse or security concerns, investigate an intellectual-property complaint, or comply with law. Access should be limited to personnel with a legitimate need and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
AI Accuracy
AI-generated responses may contain errors. Users should not include sensitive personal information in prompts and should independently verify generated content.

The Service is not designed to collect sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, precise geolocation, complete financial-account credentials, health diagnoses, biometric identifiers, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, citizenship or immigration status, or private communications unrelated to the Service. Users should not submit such information through prompts or uploads.
If sensitive personal information is submitted, we may process it only as needed to provide the requested function, protect the Service, comply with law, or for another disclosed purpose.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining security, complying with law, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.
Retention periods may depend on the type of information, whether an account remains active, subscription status, sensitivity, operational and security needs, legal obligations, intellectual-property disputes, payment and tax requirements, and applicable limitation periods.

- billing and transaction records may be retained as required for tax, accounting, and dispute purposes;

- chat history may be retained until deleted by the user, account deletion, or expiration under our retention settings;
- backups may be retained temporarily until overwritten under normal backup cycles; and
- information subject to a legal hold may be retained until the hold is released.
11. User Choices and Account Controls
Depending on available features, users may be able to update account information, delete individual chats, disable chat-history storage, download account information, manage marketing preferences, manage cookie preferences, cancel subscriptions, or request account deletion. We may need to verify the requester’s identity before fulfilling a request. Deleting an account may not immediately remove transaction records, fraud-prevention records, security logs, legal records, de-identified information, information retained in backups, or records we must retain by law.
12. California Privacy Rights
This section applies to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to Actuarial Exams Tutor.

Exercising California Rights
California residents may submit a request by emailing admin@actuarialexamstutor.com. The request should include the nature of the request, the email address associated with the account, and enough information for us to reasonably verify identity. We may request additional information when necessary. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to proof of authorization and identity verification.
We will not discriminate against a user for exercising an applicable privacy right. Actuarial Exams Tutor may not currently meet the statutory thresholds that make every CCPA obligation applicable. Providing certain request mechanisms voluntarily does not constitute an admission that a particular law applies.

Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information; opt out of targeted advertising, certain sales, or certain profiling; and appeal the denial of a request. 14. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Controller
Actuarial Exams Tutor is generally the controller of personal information collected directly through the Service.

We do not control third-party privacy practices. Users should review the privacy policy of each third-party service before providing information.
20. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is not a universally accepted standard governing all such signals, the Service may not respond to traditional Do Not Track signals. Where legally required, we process applicable opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as described in this Privacy Policy.
21. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we update it, we will revise the “Last Updated” date.
